The brief
A multi-level commercial structure with a tight crane envelope and a live public edge on two boundaries. Programme certainty mattered more than unit rate.
How it was built
- 01Deck cycle fixed at seven working days and published to every subcontractor at mobilisation.
- 02Edge protection and public-interface controls designed before the first lift.
- 03Electrical first-fix built into the deck cycle rather than chased afterwards.
- 04Weekly progress photography and a dated register issued to the client team.
Outcome
Deck cycle has held for eleven consecutive floors. Currently at level 12 of 19 with the finishing package mobilising behind the structure.
