Sheet 17 — The practice

About Field & Form

A small residential practice organised like a survey office: fewer mandates, better records, and one advisor accountable for each file.

Field & Form was set up in 2014 on a simple objection: most property marketing describes the picture rather than the property. We keep a written survey of every home we take on — its orientation, its materials, its running cost and the ground it sits on — and we publish that record instead of adjectives.

What we hold ourselves to

  • The buyer and the seller read the same sheet.
  • A price band is evidence-led, or it is not offered.
  • No mandate is taken on ground we do not work.
  • Photographs are never retouched to change what a room is.

The archive note

Our photographic archive is audited before anything is published. Two frames below sit outside the numbered property sheets: one held aside as unverified, and one alternate daylight angle. They are shown here for transparency rather than hidden.
