Skarsity (Pty) Ltd was founded in 2020 to solve a problem we kept seeing: small businesses paying for a website once, then being left alone with hosting renewals, broken email and no one to call.
We are a managed technology platform, not a once-off web shop. That distinction shapes everything: our customers subscribe to an ongoing service where the website, hosting, business email, WhatsApp integration and AI assistant are maintained as one system.
Being based in South Africa matters. Pricing is in Rand, support runs on local business hours, and the tools we build reflect how South African customers actually reach a business — often through WhatsApp before anything else.
Our approach is deliberately beginner-friendly. You should not need to understand DNS records, SSL certificates or hosting control panels to have a professional online presence. That is our job.
